Free AJ event: Arup to discuss its circular economy strategy

Arup architects will reveal how ambitious goals for the circular economy and carbon reduction were achieved at the landmark 1 Triton Square scheme at this month’s AJ100 breakfast tomorrow (Friday 26 February)

The London project was key in British Land being named AJ100 Client of the Year 2020 for its pursuit of net zero carbon real estate by 2030.

Arup acted as architect and engineer on the scheme and its architectural design team will discuss how the project became a model for the reuse of existing buildings and became one of British Land’s first BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rated buildings.

Friday’s speakers are Arup Architecture director Nick Jackson and architects Christina Cox and Philip Egan who will present 1 Triton Square ahead of an interactive Q&A with the AJ’s Will Hurst and the AJ audience.
