The AJ100 is the definitive record of the UK’s largest architecture practices, measured by the number of architects employed in the UK.
The accompanying AJ100 awards programme celebrates the achievements of these firms, including those leading the way on climate action. Data from the survey informs business analysis published in a special AJ100 issue in June.
This year we have:
- Inaugurated five new awards reflecting a greater emphasis on rewarding practices and individuals who are driving positive change in the profession. These include AJ100 Champions, which celebrates a cohort of practices who are pioneering positive change, and a New Talent award highlighting exemplary architectural assistants and newly qualified architects.
- Introduced a new gala lunch awards event
Could you be part of the AJ100?
Any practice can enter the survey. However, only those in the top 100 ranked by the number of architects employed in the UK will qualify for inclusion in the AJ100 ranking. The entry threshold varies according to the data of each year’s entrants. Last year, those ranked 100 had 28 architects, but this figure could be lower, or higher, in 2024.
AJ100 practices will be invited to attend the gala lunch, where the winners of the AJ100 Awards will be revealed.
The entry deadline is 9 February 2024.
