This year saw a huge amount of entries for the Workplace category and the AJ decided to split it into four categories to reflect the variety of projects submitted. For the first time we have created a fit-out category for projects that are small-scale interior retrofits only.
AJAA Design of the Year winners Henley Halebrown have been shortlisted twice for both The Poppy Factory and The Laszlo, which was recently featured in AJ Specification.
In the Workplace up to £5 million category, HÛT Architecture has two projects: Iffley Road and Farringdon Road. 16 Chart Street by Ian Chalk Architects, reviewed in November's issue of the AJ, has also been shortlisted.

The Workplace £10 million and over category features big names AHMM, Arup, WilkinsonEyre and Hopkins.
The winners will be announced on the evening of 24 February 2022 at a gala ceremony at The Brewery, London. Register here for the event and to book your table.
