About Duncan Baker-Brown
Duncan Baker-Brown is the author of The Reuse Atlas and lectures widely on material reuse. He is a practising architect and a principal lecturer at the School of Architecture Technology & Engineering at the University of Brighton, where he heads the technology courses and teaches occasional studios. He is also a member of RIBA Council, on the steering group of Architects Declare, and supported ACAN’s Circular Economy workstream in curating a nine-part Circular Economy lecture series in early 2021.
Duncan recently rebranded his practice as BakerBrown, a research-led consultancy focused on the circular economy and climate emergency. He is a lead researcher on two EU Interreg research programmes exploring the reuse of construction waste and building dismantling across five European countries.
